Robert works as a CFP and FPA Aged Care Specialist with Delburn ESG Pty Ltd trading as ESG Masterplan Both Robert and Delburn ESG Pty Ltd are authorised and corporate authorised representatives of Lifespan Financial Planning. Robert is based in Moe with his clients mostly spread throughout Gippsland and the Melbourne Metropolitan area. He is also an experienced lawyer, Notary Public and company director. Robert was the 2002 Money Management, Australian Financial Planner of the Year and has spoken at numerous conferences throughout Australia. His financial comments have also been published in the Bulletin, Money and Money Management and he has written and updated the Investment and Finance Chapters of the Australian Financial Planning Handbook since the first edition in 2004. Robert has extensive experience and expertise in the legal and financial spheres. As an enthusiastic amateur social entrepreneur, Robert ran the only bank agency in Mirboo North for 12 years as a “sideline” after the last bank pulled out. He was also a founding director of Strzelecki Brewing Company (and Mirboo Tourism Pty Ltd). As well as leading the return of banking to Mirboo North, Robert previously served for many years as a Director of Latrobe Country Credit Co-operative Ltd, a former APRA regulated deposit taking institution. He is committed to mutual and co-operative business models as well as ethical and socially responsible investing.
