James Basche CFP®
About Me
Jamie has a Bachelor of Business (Finance) from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Masters of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of New South Wales. He has completed the Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning with Kaplan Professional and has certificates in both Margin Lending and Self Managed Superannuation Funds. Jamie has been providing personal wealth management and financial advice since 2010 and has been in the financial services industry since 2002. Over this time he has built specialised knowledge in superannuation, retirement strategies, tax planning and portfolio management. Helping clients make smart decisions about their money is central to Jamie’s approach. With a solid background in accounting as an auditor for Deloitte before moving into risk management, Jamie has extensive knowledge of financial markets both locally and abroad, having spent time working for several investment banks in London. He strives to find superior personalised strategies for his clients as well as researching financial products to match their objectives. With experience in both retail and self-managed superannuation funds, Jamie seeks to structure his clients’ finances from a strategy and tax perspective first and then find the appropriate product to suit. Jamie’s approach to financial advice is to explain strategies in an easy-to-understand, jargon-free manner and develop an ongoing plan to benefit clients in the long-term.
