About Me

Donelle Parkin is a seasoned Director, Financial Planner, and Practice Manager at Lighthouse Capital, with a career spanning over 18 years. Since joining the company in 2006, she has undertaken various roles, honing her skills in financial strategy, client engagement, and business management through ongoing education and experience.

Donelle holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, which she obtained in 2016. She further enhanced her credentials by completing her Master of Financial Planning in 2018 and finalizing all education requirements with an additional Ethics course and the industry FASEA exam in 2020.

Her dedication and hard work have been recognized with several prestigious awards. In 2018, she was the recipient of the 2017/2018 Godfrey Pembroke Team Member award and was nominated for the Godfrey Pembroke New Achiever Award in the same year. She was also a nominee for the Godfrey Pembroke Adviser of the Year in 2022.

Donelle is actively involved in developing and integrating new processes within the practice to keep pace with the evolving financial planning industry. Her focus is on creating efficiencies that ensure personal advice remains affordable to the broader community.

Outside of her professional role, Donelle is committed to giving back to the community. She is involved with the Cambodia Medical Team, a self-funded volunteer program supporting medical professionals, and The Etch Collective, a women’s support group. Additionally, she provides pro-bono advice to those in need and has served as the WA State Chair of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) Gen Next Committee, supporting new professionals in the financial services industry.
