About Me

Cameron is one of only 30 Independent Financial Planners in Victoria. He is a Certified Financial Planner, an accredited SMSF Specialist Advisor™ and was recently awarded the Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) magazine prestigious Investment Adviser of the Year Award. He was previously on the Financial Planning Associations CFP Board Committee, he writes regularly on Financial Planning issues in the Herald Sun newspaper, has been interviewed by BRW and a number of other investment magazines. He started his own financial planning practice in 2009, but has practised as a planner for 24 years. Cameron is passionate about quality fee for service financial planning advice and believes good quality advice does make a significant difference to his clients wealth and wellbeing. Having helped his clients reach some of their personal and financial goals, he believes the most important part of financial planning is to work with his clients as a wealth partner. My role is to give advice and direction, but also to establish what it is clients want from their life. For example, is it a stable income stream in retirement, enough money to spend 6 months travelling every 4 years, or pay for the kids education. I then work with my client to coach and direct them so they can reach these goals.
