About Me

Michael is the owner and principal adviser of Infocus Bayside and provides holistic financial advice to his clients who are mainly located along the Bayside suburbs of Metropolitan Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.  Michael provides advice on strategies, structures and investment across a broad range of areas including superannuation and wealth accumulaton, asset protection, insurance, estate planning, aged care, pre & post retirement planning.  Michael is also an acredited Self Managed Superannuation Fund adviser. Prior to joining Infocus, Michael worked as a Senior Financial Adviser with Australian Unity Personal Financial Services Ltd from March 2016 until December 2018 and for Perpetual Private as a Senior Adviser from March 2001 to March 2016.  Michael holds a Batchelor of Business in Economics & Management, and an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning.  He is an Associate Member of the Financial Planning Association and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Michael is a committee member of the South East Melbourne Chapter of the FAAA. Michael is a former Board Director of Peninsula Health serving from July 2012 finishing his three year term in June 2015.  Michael is also a former Board Director of the youth mentoring program, Big Brothers Big Sisters and a former mentor to a ‘little’ himself. Michael, his partner and son are permanent residents of the Mornington Peninsula.  He has previously been, and currently is involved with a number of local school, sporting & community groups.  Michael is a former member of the Royal Australian Naval Reserve having joined in 1991 and a former member of the Australian Navy Cadets in the Lonsdale (Victorian) Flotilla having retired at the rank of Lieutenant.
