About Me

David Willis is the Founder of Senior Care Assist and a financial adviser with more than 20 years of experience helping Australian families make informed financial decisions.

David holds a Master of Financial Planning, an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and is a registered Financial Adviser and Financial (Tax) Adviser. Throughout his career he has worked with individuals, families, businesses and institutions, developing expertise in financial strategy, retirement planning, aged care advice and regulatory compliance.

Senior Care Assist was established following David's personal experience navigating the aged care system for a close family member. Through that experience, he saw first-hand how confusing and overwhelming aged care decisions can be for families who are already under significant emotional pressure. This inspired him to create a service dedicated to helping families understand aged care options, accommodation costs, means testing, Centrelink implications and funding strategies before important decisions are made.

David combines financial expertise with practical aged care guidance to help families navigate one of life's most challenging transitions with clarity and confidence. His approach is focused on providing clear explanations, personalised advice and practical support tailored to each family's circumstances.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his wife and three children on the Gold Coast and is passionate about helping improve outcomes for older Australians and their families.
