Morgan Hayward
About Me
Hi, I’m Morgan Hayward, a Brisbane financial adviser and Director at Lume Wealth, working on our Fortitude Valley and Surfers Paradise offices. I have worked in financial services since 2013 and have been advising clients since 2017. I hold a master’s degree, and I’m the type to roll up my sleeves and get into the technical detail, because that’s where risks and opportunities hide. Clients tell me my style is straightforward and empathetic, especially when money feels messy or overwhelming.
WHO I HELP
I work with busy professionals, business owners and families to feel empowered, optimistic, and able make the most of their financial future, particularly during major change. A key specialty is divorce financial advice and separation planning, including rebuilding after a relationship ends and making informed decisions that protect your future.
HOW I WORK
I get clear on what’s really going on, including the moving parts you might ignore. Then I map your options, explain the trade-offs in plain English, and build a plan you can follow. My aim is to reduce stress, improve control, and help you make smart decisions aligned with what matters most to you.
AREAS OF FOCUS

RECOGNITION AND GIVING BACK
I have been named in Financial Standard’s Power 50 every year since 2022, and I am a 2025 finalist for the FAAA Inspire Women Excellence in Advice Award. I also serve as chair of the FAAA Gold Coast chapter, volunteer with pro bono advice programs, and have supported mentoring through the FAAA's Advice Academy since 2020, because supporting our peak body in its work to expand access to good advice is so important.
OUTSIDE WORK
You’ll find me salsa dancing, travelling, and encouraging clients to cut back on the extras so they can spend on what lights them up.
