About Me

Neil has been recognised as a Fellow and Life Member of the Financial Advice Association of Australia.
He was also awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia at the King's Birthday awards in 2023 for Services to the Financial Planning Sector.

Neil has been Chair of the Financial Planning Association (Now the FAAA) Board and the Chair of the Financial Planning Standards Board Council.
During his role as an FPA Director, he was pivotal in the FPA’s evolution into a professional association and in raising standards for members.
During his time as Chair of FPSB, Neil was involved in lifting the standards of financial planning and in the management of the Certified Financial Planner® designation globally.

Neil is the Managing Director of Tupicoffs - The Independent Financial Planners where he demands the highest standards of independence from himself and his fellow advisers.

Additionally, he is the Founder of Financial Rescue, an initiative to help people who have been on the receiving end of inappropriate financial advice and who have lost funds because of it.

In addition to these responsibilities, Neil acts as an Expert Witness in matters relating to Financial Services and Financial Planning. He has been giving expert testimony on important cases related to the financial services industry for over a decade.
