With 20 years’ experience in the industry, Michael is our CEO and a Senior Financial Adviser. Michael established Smart Financial in 2007, building it into the exceptional Practice it is today, by focusing on the needs and goals of his clients.

His expertise spans across all areas of financial planning, including investing, superannuation, retirement and redundancy advice, and wealth creation and protection.

Michael has been awarded the Australian Unity Financial Planner of the Year Award eight years in a row, validating his continued efforts to provide the highest level of advice and support to clients.

For Michael, there’s nothing better than the feeling of helping a client achieve a level of financial freedom they didn’t think was possible. Helping people is the best part of his day.

Michael is an avid footy fan, supporting the Canterbury Bulldogs as well as coaching and sponsoring local junior footy teams.
