Hey!

I'm Rachel O'Connor, Principal Financial Adviser at Flourix Wealth.

When I was in Year 4, I asked my mum for shares. Rather than getting me shares she gave me a book called A Woman's Guide to Money. She left a note in the front saying "When you figure this out, can you teach your sisters?"

That’s when my interest in finances started and my curiosity just kept growing

I quickly realised that understanding money can truly change your life. But despite the progress we've made with gender equality, too many women are still left out of the money conversation.

Now as a financial adviser, I help bridge that gap. I have a front-row seat to watch my clients transform their relationship with money.

As a mum of two energetic boys, being self-employed and in control of my finances allows me to live the life I want. I can be present in my children’s lives while pursuing a career I love —one that makes a real difference in other people’s lives.
