About Me
I commenced my career in Financial Planning during the final year of my Economics degree at the Australian National University in 1995. Following the completion of my studies, I moved to Sydney to work in both boutique and institutional financial planning firms, whilst also completing my post graduate studies in Financial Planning, attaining the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner. I see myself as a problem solver and strive to constantly explore "cutting edge" strategies to deliver to the clients of Profile.
I recently moved back to live in Wagga Wagga after living in the Blue Mountains for 20 years. I love spending time with my two adult sons and love that they both have taken up the outdoor lifestyle that we encouraged when they were growing up. This culminated in one of my sons joining me on my sabbatical in the Kimberley in 2023.
I enjoy outdoor activities such as bush walking, mountain/road bike riding, golf and 4WDing. I enjoy giving back to the community and like most parents, I was heavily involved in coaching and managing my son’s sporting teams over the years. I am a volunteer fire-fighter with the Warrimoo Bush Fire Brigade and was involved in the infamous “The Cricketers” photo during the October 2013 Blue Mountain fire campaign, which raised $29,000 for the Blue Mountain bushfire relief fund.
