Brett began his career as a financial analyst and prior to joining Up, Brett was a Senior Financial Adviser and Responsible Manager at one of Canberra's larger financial planning firms.Brett works with high net wealth and high net income individuals, small to medium sized enterprises and self funded retirees. As a Director, Shareholder and Adviser at Up, Brett's passion lies in helping clients through technical strategies for SMSFs, trusts and financial modelling. Brett holds a Bachelor of Commerce, is a Certified Financial Planner, is a Self Managed Superannuation Fund Specialist Advisor and is a Life Risk Specialist Advisor. Brett is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) and the the Self Managed Superannuation Professionals Association (SPAA). In addition, Brett is the secretary for the ACT SPAA chapter committee and encourages the importance of integrating financial advice with other professionals.On weekends, Brett tinkers on DIY projects, leads an active lifestyle, enjoys watching most sports and spending time with his wife, Karen, and their two young children, Archer and Audrey.
